L’Amérique c’est plus ce que c’était diront certains. En tout cas pour certaines marques ce n’est plus totalement l’Amérique et pour d’autres c’est aussi une fin de parcours un peu triste en Europe. Mais il reste de belles choses à voir, quelques muscle cars, des 4×4 démesurés et même des arlésiennes…
Le stand Cadillac était sans aucun doute celui où le goût de l’Amérique était le plus marqué, notamment en raison de la présence du monumental Escalade. Ce monstre vous accueille très poliment en déployant son marche-pied (et c’est un accessoire qui n’est absolument pas superflu…), offre un espace fabuleux à tous les occupants (les enfants peuvent se tenir debout dedans) et en prime vous offre une verrue complètement incongrue en terme de sélecteur de vitesse. A noter aussi la CTS 2014 et son magnifique intérieur qui allie avec bonheur cuir, bois et alcantara. Chez Chevrolet ça sent un peu le sapin mais heureusement il restera de beaux jouets disponibles. Ford nous présentait sa magnifique nouvelle Mustang en version coupé et cabriolet, le restylage réussi de sa Focus et… la Mondéo dans son éternelle déclinaison concept (Vignale). Chez Jeep c’est la révolution à tous les étages… Entre le Cherokee dont le design fait toujours grincer des dents les plus aficionados des aficionados (il sera à l’essai au mois d’avril sur le Blogautomobile) et la nouvelle petite Renegade, le moins que l’on puisse dire c’est que ça bouge !
